About this Course
This is our online Introduction to Business Continuity Planning course. It presents the process, principles and terminology of business continuity management (BCM) in accordance with the international standard ISO 22301. It is intended for someone completely new to Business Continuity Management, or as a refresher course for an experienced BCM practitioner.
This course includes an exam for the Certificate in Business Continuity Management, issued by the Institute for Business Continuity Management.
This course presents an overview of the requirements set out in ISO 22301 and provides a comprehensive methodology for implementing ISO 22301 in any size or type of organization.The course covers all four components of the Plan-Do-Check-Act management systems life cycle of ISO 22301 training participants in best practices as well as best principles for Business Continuity Planning.
This is a very comprehensive course and you should plan to spend at least 15 hours in study. It is organized into a series of individual lessons which you can study (and re-study) at your own pace. Registration provides 90 days of access.
